Year 4A

 Welcome to Year 4A!

This half term we have many exciting things planned for the children such as learning all about 'Where our food comes from' in Geography to 'Electricity' in Science, with lots of investigations for the children to take part in. Our class novel is the 'Pied Piper of Hamelin' by Michael Morpurgo.

Reminders:

• Children are expected to read regularly at home and have their reading records signed. It is advised that they do this every evening.  Ten minutes a night will make such a difference!

• PE this year will be on Thursday afternoons. The children will need to keep their kit in school until the end of the term when they will be able to bring it home to wash.

• Homework will be sent out on a Friday and this is to be completed either in their homework book or online and will be due back the following Wednesday.

• Spellings will be sent home on a Friday and children will need to learn these words for the following Friday.

I will keep you updated on our Class Dojo page with photographs and messages and I will update you with key information on here too.

We have an open door policy and we are happy to speak to you about anything you are concerned about, or want to know more information about, so feel free to grab any of us before or after school or you can message us on ClassDojo.

Here's to a great year in Year 4!
