Some words in the English language have words that include a sound that sounds like ‘c’ but is spelt with a ‘ch’.

 

Look at each of the words below that are spelt with a ch but sound like c. Write them out in different colours to help you remember how to spell them. Underline the ‘ch’ that sounds like c.
