LO: To spell words with the –ous suffix
A suffix is a group of letter that we put at the end of a word to make a new word. We add –ous to make words into adjectives. Most of the time when we add –ous we do not need to do anything to the root word. If the root word ends in an e we must drop the e before we add -ous. Follow the link to complete your online spelling test. |
