Watch the video of the story - ‘My mouth is a Volcano’ by Julia Cook
Discuss:
What did Louis do?
How did it make others feel?
Could he help it?
What could he have done instead?
Do you ever feel like Louis?
What could you do?
Use the writing frame, ‘When I feel like erupting, I can…’ on the Activity sheet provided.
Write the strategies that you can use when you feel like erupting, at school and at home.

Everyone is welcome to take part in the zoom on Wednesday, regardless if they are baking or not as I will be explaining things whilst baking. The ingredients are below. I have also added extra things you may want to include but you do not need. Finally, to take part you will need an adult present (they do not need to be on the zoom but need to give permission for safety reasons). If no adult is present, I will be recording the zoom and you could do the baking when you get chance.

100g Butter
170g Self Raising Flour
Optional for flavouring:
1 tbs Maple Syrup or golden syrup
Any type of chocolate (I will be using 3 creme eggs and a small packet of mini eggs).

LO: To know that we should always remember to thank Jesus for his help
Think of all the things that happen every day that you want to say ‘thank you’ to somebody for doing. How do we feel when somebody thanks us? What does it feel like when we have helped somebody else?
Today we will be thinking about how important it is to look after our teeth.
Activity - Top Tips for healthy teeth
Key questions to ask:
What do we use our teeth for?
What does good tooth care mean?
Who is in charge of keeping our teeth healthy?
How do we keep our smiles bright?
Write the tips inside the tooth-shaped space on the Activity sheet.
[e.g. brush twice a day, brush for at least two minutes, just spit afterwards - don't rinse, avoid sugary food between meals, drink milk to keep teeth and bones strong, avoid too many sugary drinks]
