This half term, we are learning all about castles, kings and queens.
- We will explore different castles - including a visit to Clitheroe Castle - and be able to identify the different parts of a castle such as the drawbridge or moat, comparing castles with our homes today.
- Using historical sources, we will compare life in historical and modern England e.g dress, food and children's lives.
- We will be able to identify the key roles within a castle e.g. King, Queen, Lord, Lady, Cook and Soldier.
- We are learning to identify the key people in the modern royal family and will be able to identify key British monarchs and place them on a timeline.
