The children have made their shoe box Nativity scene. The children have worked extremely hard creating their own festive art work.
Our new topic is Trust in God. We performed some trust exercises and discussed the importance of trust. The children compared ideas about trusting in God. We discussed why, as Catholics, we trust in God. Ask your child why we trust in God.
On Friday, Year 4 visited St Walburge’s Church and completed different learning and spiritual activities. The children climbed 172 steps to a viewpoint in the spire. The views were breathtaking. Ask your child what they enjoyed the most.
This week, Fatger Millar visited our class to discuss The Bible and its origins, the different books it includes and some Catholic theology. Ask your child what they know about the Bible.
We painted Worship stones with values that we think are important. We will keep them with our Worship area throughout the year.
