Our Topic Learning
Autumn 1:
Throughout our first term we have been learning all about the Anglo Saxons. We have explored how they lived, the jobs that they have done and their lifestyles.
After out learning, we made a model of an Anglo Saxon house using art straws and paper. They were very realistic.
Summer 1
As part of our Amazon Adventure topic, we have used our green fingers to plant sunflower seeds. We had some fantastic knowledge of how plants survive and knew that animals, like bees, help to keep the plant life-cycles going. Through discussion, we learnt all about plants helping our world by photosynthesis (ask your child to explain what this means!).
We are waiting to see whose plant grows the tallest!
