  • May Procession

    Fri 25 May 2018
On Tuesday the children took part in a wonderful procession in dedication to Mary. They all paraded Rigby Street, Maitland Street and Caroline Street and into church singing praise to Mary and reciting decades of the Rosary. Flowers were laid at the altar too. We were joined by the Sisters Adorers of the Sacred Heart of Jesus from Preston and nuns from the Little Sisters for the Poor in Manchester, who celebrated the blessing of the new St. Joseph statue with the School Council and Chair of Governors in the Reception garden. Many thanks to Father Millar for leading us in prayer and thanks giving and the many parishioners who joined our celebrations.

The children all looked amazing in their superhero outfits today. The ‘Cash for Kids’ vehicles arrived for all the children to see on Rigby Street. In class, they did ‘super’ writing activities, science activities and had a lovely fun day of learning. Well done to all the parents for arranging the amazing costumes. Did you spot Mr Jim as …..BATMAN!!

Summer term! 14 weeks – 70 days EASY!!

The patch of empty land called ‘Paul’s pad’ on Truro place has been lovingly restored as a community space.

The Friends of Fishwick and St Matthews have finished bringing the land back into use. We think is looks wonderful and will be a great recreational space for the children and community
