  • The Preston Passion Play

    Fri 14 Apr 2017

Eight of our children took part in the performance of The Preston

Passion Play. This was a big scale production involving over 140

actors retelling the Easter story with a modern twist.

The children braved the rain and cold to represent St Joseph’s with

    a smile. They were fantastic!

After chatting to the actors the children handed out leaflets to the

waiting crowds. They gathered around Jesus when he was teaching

in the temple scene and they handed out bread to the audience

    during the last supper scene.

We followed the play through to the city centre where the story of

    Jesus’ crucifixion and resurrection continued.

The children ran a fantastic race in tough conditions, progressing on last year's results. The team managed a 29th and 31st place in both races. Another sporting achievement for St Joseph's!
