  • CAFOD Easter Raffle

    We raised £175.00 for CAFOD through our Lenten Easter egg raffle. Thank you everyone for buying the tickets. Well done to the year 5 and 6 school council who sold the tickets - they were very busy each playtime.

    It was a beautiful portrayal of the Easter story shown through song dance and some amazing performances. They are quite a talented dramatic bunch of children! A special mention to Jaiden as a superb Jesus and Asia as Peter. Thank you to the parents for attending.

  • Visit to the Sea Life Centre

    The KS1 phase have had a fabulous time visiting the Sea Life Centre. The children accessed two curriculum sessions learning about animal habitats and how animals breed, survive and protect their young. We had an amazing day and learnt lots! Ask your child about what they have learnt.
  • CAFOD

    During Lent we are raising money for those less fortunate than ourselves through the Catholic charity CAFOD.
    We had a non-technology day in school called ‘Apps for Taps’ to raise money for water for a village through CAFOD. We collected £76.34. Many thanks.

    The whole school attended mass on Monday for Lent. They joined in the responses most reverently. Father Millar noted that parishioners were very complimentary.In assemblies in Lent, the children will be thinking about fasting, prayer and almsgiving.
  • World Book Day 2018 at SJPS

    The children looked fantastic today in their World Book Day outfits. We had everything from princesses and superheroes to book fairies and evacuees! We started the day with assembly and winners for the best outfits were announced from each class. All winners received a £5 book voucher. The staff also joined in with the fun with all of us dressing up as characters from ‘Where’s Wally’. A fun day has been had by all!
