Year 4B

Miss Smith

smiley Happy New Year and welcome back to a brand new term! smiley

Welcome back Year 4B! We can't wait for another half term of learning new things!

Our topic this term is 'Ancient Egypt' and we have lots of exciting and challenging lessons to look forward to as well as a visit from Mr Egypt! We are also learning about 'States of Matter - Solids, Liquids and Gases' in Science with lots of opportunities to carry out observations and experiments.

We will soon be moving onto 'Multiplication and Division' in Maths and will be focusing on:

  • multiplying and dividing by 10 and 100
  • multiplying by 1 and 0
  • dividing by 1 and itself
  • multiplying and dividing by 3, 6, 7 and 9

Continuous practice of the children's times tables at home will really benefit them for their lessons.

Spellings will continue to be sent home on a Monday ready for a test on the following Friday and P.E will continue every Thursday.

I will keep you updated on our Class Dojo page with photographs and messages and I will update you with key information on here too. Please use the links below to access key information or learning with your children.

Here's to another great half term in Year 4B!
