Spelling at St Joseph's
At St. Joseph's the children have spelling lessons at least three times a week and each week the spellings will focus on a specific sound or rule. A spelling list will be sent home on a Monday so that the children have a full week to practise their spellings and they will be tested on them the following Monday. Some words will be repeated throughout the year to help children to apply the words they have learned to their independent work.
