Flowers and plants
Our topic this half term is 'Plants and flowers'. in this lesson we were looking pollination.
We used a real life tulip to look at all the parts needed for pollination. Once we had discussed each part, we then dissected the tulip and label each part.
We ended our lesson by drawing and writing about the pollination process.
Our science topic this half term is 'Animals including Humans'.
A skeleton come to visit us and we had fun labelling all his bones.
We now know the names of lots of our bones and discovered lots of facts such as the longest bone in our body is the femur and that the adult human body has 206 bones in it.
