Use the green work book in your learning packs to practise writing the letter ' i '
Please ensure your child follows the Phonics lessons daily. This will support your child to read. In Reception, they need to learn Set 1 followed by Set 2. Please click on the link and watch the lesson virtually. Each day, a new sound will be added.
The Video's will be live from 9.30am and will last for 24 hours.

Daily task -
L.O: To speak in full sentences.
To describe Goldilocks.
-Recap the story of Goldilocks, can you remember the story and the actions?
Find the picture of Goldilocks in your English pack.
Watch the video under this timetable, it will explain todays task.
Focus- Talk about what Goldilocks looks like.
- what is she wearing?
- Can you think of any words to describe what she is wearing?
Make sure you are encouraging your child to talk in full sentences, such as:
Goldilocks has long blonde hair.
She has shiny, red shoes.
Her spotty dress is blue and white.
L.O: To find the total of two amounts

You will need a worksheet from the pack. Week 3 SHEET 2.
To complete the sheet-
Pick a number from 1-5, draw that amount of dots in the first circle. such as 2.
Pick a different number 1-5, draw that amount in the next circle. such as 4.
Count the two amounts altogether, explain that this is 'adding' them.
Then draw the final amount in the bottom circle.
Challenge- You could write the numerals instead of drawing the dots. Use your number track to help you.
Remember you only need to add amounts UP TO 10.

Listen to the story of Peter and Andrew fishing.
Ask your child to tell you what happened in the story?
- What were the names of the fishermen?
- What were they doing when they met Jesus?
-What did Jesus tell them to do?
-Was this a good idea? Why or why not?
-What did Jesus do?
Draw a picture of Andrew and Peter in their fishing boats with Jesus. Ask your child to re-tell or explain what happened in the story.
**Please note the disciples are called 'Peter and Andrew,' I made a mistake at the end of the video by using 'Simon' instead of Peter. **
