Morning challenge/ letter formation

Watch the video labelled 'morning challenge - Tricky words. The word today is 'I'   (The video is below this timetable)

Use the green work book in your learning packs to practise writing the word 'I'




Please ensure your child follows the Phonics lessons daily. This will support your child to read. In Reception, they need to learn Set 1 followed by Set 2. Please click on the link and watch the lesson virtually. Each day, a new sound will be added.


The Video's will be live from 9.30am and will last for 24 hours.

Cut out the picture of the horse.


Think of a word to describe the horse (brown, big, tall).

Think of a sentence using this word. Say the sentence a few times to help remember the sentence.

E.G: The big horse. 


Write a short sentence with 3 words. Use a describing word in your sentence.

L.O: To learn to say sorry when we hurt somebody.

Watch today's video all about Zacchaeus. 

At first Zacchaeus was not a kind man, he would take money off people.

Jesus met him and went to his house. Zacchaeus knew he had to say sorry. 



-Think about what we must say sorry for? 

-What things have we done that were not very kind or helpful?

-Talk about what things you have done that you need to say sorry for

-Write a prayer to God to say sorry for things you may have done


Here are some ways to start your prayer. Here is an example of a prayer

Dear God, 

I am very sorry for...

I will be kind by...

Thank-you for all your love,
