Please ensure your child follows the Phonics lessons daily. This will support your child to read. In Reception, they need to learn Set 1 followed by Set 2. Please click on the link and watch the lesson virtually. Each day, a new sound will be added.

L.O: To retell the events of a story. To write a simple sentence Watch the video below to explain today's task You will need to refer to your picture cards from this weeks sessions. Today you will be writing the end of the story. Write a sentence for the last picture card. The video will explain to steps to write a sentence. Challenge- Can you make your sentence longer? such as The bears are mad and grumpy.
Don't forget your capital letter, finger space and full stops. |

L.O: To find the total of two amounts Yesterdays video is below to help if needed. Start by counting to 10 using your fingers. - Complete worksheet 7. This sheet has slightly trickier numbers to add together. You can use all different methods to complete the number sentences. - use practical resources such as cereal - draw and count dots - use your fingers or put the biggest number in your head and count on
Use the number track from your learning pack to help you write the numerals to answer each question. Read out each number sentence using the correct vocabulary such as '6 add 3 equals 9'

Recycling Yesterday you looked at recycling. Today you could watch yesterdays videos again.
Can you draw one of the recycling symbols? Write a sentence all about recycling. Tell me, why should we recycle and what materials can be recycled? Such as - Recycle a tin. Put it in the green bin. It will go to a factory.
